«Come Along With Me», the long-awaited Adventure Time Finale.

Adventure Time has been a fan-favorite for about a decade. Its 10-season run has let fans with big expectations about how their favorite characters will end up, and the finale did not disappoint. Although the finale left the show a bit open-ended, it was like any other good episode, it was an adventure. It was filled with everyone’s favorite characters, it had various easter eggs that made a reference to past seasons and it made a big ode to its songs throughout the series, by ending the episode in the best, most-complete way…with a song. Show co-creator, Adam Muto, decided it was best to end the show with an elongated version of the song «Come Along With Me», and it definitely tied some loose ends. By the end of the episode, Finn and Jake are laying aside the singing hole (which only people who have suffered from great loss can hear), and while the hole sings, we see various scenes of the characters continuing on with their respective lives. Because in the end, the message Adventure Time wanted to conceive throughout the show is that life is an adventure, and no matter how the series ended, Finn and Jake, as well as all their friends, would continue on with their adventures, with or without an audience.
